As a Controlling Analyst, you translate figures into business insights and keep budgets on track. You identify, analyse and mitigate financial risks within the organization, ensuring compliance with regulations and supporting strategic decision-making.

What you’ll do

• You prepare monthly financial reports and interact with support departments, sharing results with ExCom and helping optimize expenses.
• Leading the month-end and year-end financial close, you also prepare monthly reports and conducting variance analysis for Luminus’ support departments.
• You organize meetings to gather budget and re-forecast information, ensuring planning assumptions align with company targets and collaborate closely with support department managers and ExCom members.
• Proactively participate in new initiatives and contribute to strategic exercises, including benchmarking, cost allocation and new processes, you steer the business towards value-added strategies.
• You review business cases for consistency, completeness and relevance, organizing and participating in follow-ups of significant investments to assess the precision and correctness of previous business cases.
• Controlling and monitoring operating expenses by department, you also organise quarterly expense reviews with support managers to review actual OPEX and prepare LEx.

What you bring

• You hold a Master's degree in finance or show us you have built up experience equal to this degree.
• You have experience in financial controlling.
• You can make independent decisions based on guidance from Finance management.
• You are skilled in using Powertools, Excel, SAP and BW.
• You have an affinity for IT development.
• You are fluent in English (Dutch and/or French is a plus).
