Luminus and its partners (EDF Renewables and Jan De Nul for phase 1) will participate to the Federal Government tender for the Princess Elisabeth Zone.
The Offshore Developer is part of the team that participates tendering process (pre-qualification, design of the Project, writing of the bid, presentation ) and be involved in internal and external studies, communications, meetings and deliverables required to ensure a successful bid by Luminus and its partners.
Your daily job
You set up and maintain relationships with Belgian stakeholders of the tender at the federal level (FOD Energy, FOD Environment, CREG, ELIA, etc.) and at the local level (local municipalities, federal administrative services, port authorities, local stakeholders, etc.) in close cooperation with Corporate Affairs.
You assist the Project Director in preparing the project steering committee (agenda, minutes of meeting) and in internal reporting to the Luminus management as part of the project team.
You execute development tasks:
-You collaborate with the engineering teams of EDF Renewables and/or other partners for the technical design of the project and collecting government investigations and studies for site characterization (including but not limited to permit and environmental conditions, geotechnical studies, wind measurements, and metocean studies).
-You facilitate citizen participation.
-You ensure that major development risks of the project are controlled.
-You manage development aspects of the project on a day-to-day basis.
-You participate in the choice of technologies and aspects of procurement procedures related to the project, industrial plan, contracting strategy, and layout.
-You develope the project with a competitive business case in mind, consistent with the needs of the shareholders and market standards.
You perform all or part of the above-mentioned tasks in close cooperation with EDF RE's "International Development" and "Energies Marines Renouvelables" teams.
You provide appropriate reporting to the Offshore Project Director and the Steering Committee.
Your profile
• You have 5 to 10 years’ experience with knowledge of the wind industry.
• You have a strong interest in offshore and you are eager to learn.
• You are innovation minded.
• You are fluent in Dutch, English, French (with order of priority).
