As a Renewables Site Finder,

you’ll be at the forefront of expanding our wind and solar projects. You'll identify, assess, and propose new locations, working closely with project managers in Flanders and Wallonia to drive sustainable energy growth.

Your Daily Job

You actively search for new renewable energy sites (wind, agri-photovoltaic, etc.) using maps, databases, and field visits.
You gather and analyze land data, zoning plans, and regulatory constraints to assess site feasibility.
You stay ahead of legislative changes and engage with key authorities (Ministry of Defense, Skeyes, nature organizations) to unlock new possibilities.
You work closely with developers, biodiversity specialists, and grid connection teams to select the best sites.
You present and defend site proposals, supporting the team in obtaining necessary approvals and authorizations.
You take a proactive, entrepreneurial approach to promote sustainable energy solutions in a fast-evolving industry.

Your Profile

You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in geography, spatial planning, environmental sciences, engineering or a related field.
You bring 3-5 years of experience in land analysis, renewable energy or a similar sector.
You have strong skills in data analysis, GIS software and land use interpretation.
You communicate fluently in Dutch and French (English is a plus) and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
You are proactive, analytical and detail-oriented, with a strong passion for renewable energy.
You think outside the box, embrace challenges and always put the customer first.
