Luminus sees an opportunity to enhance support for our B2B customers and drive better outcomes for our B2B business through stronger ownership of our current OTC offerings.
In this context, we are looking for a dynamic and seasoned Sales Trader to join our team.
You will take charge of managing Over-The-Counter (OTC) offers for our B2B clientele while also advancing our sales trading platform. This role demands a blend of exceptional sales skills, trading expertise and technological insight to effectively engage clients and optimize trading processes. As a Sales Trader you play a pivotal role bridging Optimization and B2B departments within our organization.
Your daily job
- You manage and maintain the OTC Offering catalog.
- You supervise the daily activities of the sales trading platform to guarantee its consistent operation and reliability.
- You utilize data analytics tools to generate insights into trading activities, customer behavior and market trends.
- You establish strong commercial relationships with key customers in our B2B portfolio by proactively calling and listening to their expectations.
- You are the SPOC for key customers, serving as an energy consultant : helping managing energy costs, providing proactive market insights and developing financial dashboards for tracking positions and projections. Additionally, you deliver technical analyses and models to support informed decision-making.
- You develop the new OTC platform.
- You develop new offers, services and products aligned with customer expectations.
- You play a key role in determining the new ICT and business features required for the platform.
- You contribute to an increase in the volume traded on the OTC platform and an increase in OTC margin from OTC Trading and EOD Trading activities.
- You perform trades on commodities markets for the B2B & Luminus Portfolio Management.
Your profile
- You hold a master's degree in engineering, finance or economics.
- You have knowledge of energy markets, such as CWE power, gas and CO2.
- You have experience in sales trading, OTC markets or financial services, with a strong track record of success in B2B sales being a plus.
- You are familiar with financial instruments (Forwards, Options, Swaps, etc.).
- You possess strong knowledge of MS Excel and/or Python.
- You are are fluent in French and Dutch.
- You possess strong organizational, decision-making and analytical skills.
- You excel in both verbal and written communication and are adaptable in changing market conditions.
- You stay informed about industry developments and maintain a commitment to ethical conduct and compliance.
- You translate abstract concepts into practical solutions and can provide concrete advice to management.
- You foster collaboration and take initiative to deliver accurate and high-quality results.
