The IT Optimisation & Generation team drives the Optimisation & Generation application development and maintenance (adhering to Agile principles and practices), ensuring operational excellence in Optimisation & Generation technology stack and driving its ongoing evolution. The team(s) support a wide variety of applications, both on prem as well as SaaS. The OptiGen technology stack is supporting the (Mid Term & Short Term) Optimisation teams to perform all wholesale market transactions, balancing services and hedging operations of Luminus. Furthermore they help connecting Luminus to the national grid operators.

As a Solution Architect, you’ll transform business requirements into scalable, efficient, and future-proof solutions while maintaining a hands-on approach during prototyping phases.

What You'll Do

Design and document architectural solutions that meet business needs and align with security policies.
Collaborate with teams to define epics, features, and PI objectives in Agile environments.
Guide development teams to ensure best practices and technical governance are followed.
Ensure smooth project delivery by supporting integration, testing, and post-delivery processes.

What You Bring

Master’s degree in IT or equivalent experience.
Expertise in .NET, AWS, and UML for architectural design and prototyping.
Experience in managing complex systems or platforms, ideally within the energy sector, is essential for this role.
Strong analytical and architectural skills paired with excellent communication and collaboration abilities to manage stakeholders.
A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
Fluent in English, with knowledge of Dutch or French a plus.
