The HR Department of Luminus supports the business units in all the challenges they encounter: recruiting – engaging – developping and keep colleagues motivated in safe working conditions.
Changing legislations, changing needs require appropriate follow-up and adapted application to the company's social and labour law reality.
A constructive and respectful social climate, along with effective collaboration within social concertation organs, is key to enabling the company to face future challenges, especially in a sector with a long tradition of strong union involvement.
As Social and Labour Law Specialist, you will assist the Senior Social Relations Manager and the HR Managers in all topics and questions related to social law : collective and individual social law.
You will assist to the collective bargaining and the different concertation organs within Luminus. This position is ideal for young lawyers specializing in social law with a big interest in social concertation, to gather experience and grow within the position to take more and more responsabilities, at the heart of the energy transition.
Follow-up relevant legislation, prepare training for the HR Managers and the payroll team and assisting in implementation to ensure compliance;
Provide legal advise on social and labour law matters;
Draft, review and maintain precedent documents and templates;
Support the drafting of guidelines and policies;
Keep Luminus agreements up to date and aligned with the interprofessional and sectoral agreements;
You are the contact person of the HR Managers and the payroll team regarding social law inquiries:
You manage external legal counsel on dispute files and handle social litigations;
You support the Senior Industrial Relations Manager in the preparation for union negotiations;
You develop good working relations with all internal stakeholders, management and union representatives, in order to establish a true business partner relationship, and to foster a constructive social dialogue.
You plan and assist in social concertation meetings at National and local level within Luminus, and insure the correct application of concluded agreements.
You represent Luminus in working groups of sector-level employers’ organizations.

First experience in social law and social security law
