Agrivoltaic Project Advisor

With over 20 years of experience in developing wind energy projects, Luminus is now expanding its expertise to solar energy, specifically Agri-PV projects (Agrivoltaics) in Belgium. To achieve this ambitious goal, we are strengthening our team with a focus on Agrivoltaic expertise.

Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Strategic advice: Provide regional insights on agricultural challenges to project developers and help build a strong network of stakeholders within the agricultural sector.
• On-the-ground support: Advise and support field teams during their project scouting and development efforts, ensuring optimal conditions for project feasibility and acceptance.
• Agronomic project analysis: Help assess the regulatory framework and work with agricultural consultancy firms. Evaluate the agricultural viability of Agri-PV projects and ensure integration of both farming and solar requirements in project designs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with regional teams, agricultural unions, and administration to ensure alignment with agricultural regulations and community needs.
• Cross-team engagement: Lead knowledge-sharing sessions within the development team and across departments (Environment, GIS, Grid Connection, Local Integration, Operations & Maintenance).

Additional tasks:

• Tool creation: Develop methodological tools to support project developers and streamline the development process.
• Best practices: Gather feedback and experiences from projects to establish best practices for future developments.
• Sector leadership: Represent Luminus at conferences, industry events, and contribute to upcoming regulations and best practice guides for the agri-PV sector.

Vous participez à la structuration de la filière agri-PV en Belgique:

• Vous contribuez aux réglementations à venir et aux guides de bonnes pratiques. 
• Vous représentez l’entreprise lors de colloques, de salons professionnels, etc.

Profile

• You have at least 3 years of professional experience in the agricultural sector, agri-food industry, or renewable energy project development in agricultural environments.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office and fluent in French (knowledge of Dutch is a plus).
• A good understanding of photovoltaic technologies is a significant advantage.
• You have a strong grasp of agricultural issues and the needs of farmers.
• You are agile, pragmatic, and methodical in your approach to work.
• You possess excellent interpersonal skills and oral communication abilities.
