Internship: Data Scientist

We are in search of a dynamic, motivated, and energetic intern eager to explore the realm of Artificial Intelligence, supporting Risk Management, Trading, Retail, and IT in their data science/engineering initiatives.

You'll collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to tackle critical product inquiries. As an integral part of the Development and Machine Learning teams, you'll be immersed in cutting-edge AI technology.

Furthermore, this internship offers the exciting opportunity to delve into advanced projects such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision for market analysis and predictive algorithms for risk assessment.. 

Your daily job as intern

• You manage and optimize existing NLP and ML production models, reviewing and improving algorithms.
• You develop and implement new machine learning models to reassess risk and enhance risk assessment methodologies
• You support existing data initiatives (e.g., data lake, data-driven company initiatives) to bolster the company's comprehension and management of its data.
• You enhance and facilitate the understanding of data assets across the organization.
• You participate in training sessions and workshops to further enhance skills in data science and machine learning techniques.
• You simplify complex data concepts into understandable terms, ensuring effective communication and comprehension among project stakeholders.

Your profile
 

We are looking for highly motivated intern with a diverse range of educational backgrounds, including IT, business, engineering, economics and related fields. Candidates with a keen interest in the energy business and a strong passion for learning about data, automation, and finance are encouraged to apply.

• You have an analytical mind and affinity with numbers and programming (Python, VBA, SAS, or SQL).
• You are eager and motivated to learn.
• You are able to assimilate a different large amount of information and translate it into clear process ideas. 
• You have a critical and synthetic mind.
• You have a proactive personality and  eager to challenge the status-quo.
• You make technical concepts easy to understand.

This internship lastst between 4 to 12 months. You are expected to be available at least 2 days a week.
