Personal Assistant to the CEO

HR & Communications

As the Personal Assistant to the CEO at Luminus, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of the CEO office.   You manage a wide range of executive and administrative support related taks and acts as the liaison between the CEO and various internal and external stakeholders. In this capacity, thanks to your strong and discrete organisatory and and interpersonal skills, you will be a real trustperson to the CEO to ensure an efficient organization of daily operations.

 

 

Your Daily Job

 

  • Representation: act as first point of contact for the CEO towards internal and external stakeholders and make sure to build up a professional and constructive relationship with them to allow a smooth cooperation.
  • Agenda Management and Planning: manage the CEO's complex agenda, including plan meetings and appointments, and proactively follow up/adapt if necessary remind. Act as gatekeeper, ensuring the executive’s time is used effectively.
  • Travel: plan and arrange complex travel arrangements and manage any changes efficiently.
  • Meeting support: prepare high level meetings including for boards/shareholders, and ensure proactive and qualitative administration/logistics/catering on time. As to executive committee functioning, this includes also management of agendas/supporting materials/attendees/follow up action points.
  • Administrative Support: manage emails, draft/finalize letters or presentations, draft and process expense reports, and handle other administrative tasks that contribute to the efficient functioning of the CEO's office, within the necessary deadlines.

  • Flexibility and Stress Management: manage a dynamic work environment with diplomacy, including under the pressure of last minute changes/problems. 
  • Coordination: coordinate a fluent cooperation with other personal assistants of executive committee and ensure relevant backups, alignment of way of working, and an efficient documentation and filing system

 

Your profile

 

  • You preferably have a bachelor's degree in Office Management or equivalent experience, with several years in a similar executive-level role being a plus.
  • You possess excellent oral and written communication skills in Dutch, French, and English.
  • You excel in organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • You maintain a strong sense of discretion and confidentiality.
  • You have an affinity for modern technologies and digital tools.

Bij Luminus garandeert onze Productieafdeling de continuïteit van de energievoorziening door de omzetting van wind- en waterkracht in elektriciteit te maximaliseren en tegelijkertijd de flexibiliteit van onze thermische centrales te waarborgen om perioden van lage duurzame productie te compenseren. Als Technieker I&C zorg je voor het hart van onze centrales: betrouwbare, veilige en performante installaties.

 

 

Dit ga je doen

 

  • Binnen je hoofdactiviteit in het I&C-team en volgens het onderhoudsproces sta je in in voor de uitvoering en inbedrijfstelling van werkzaamheden.
  • Je analyseert problemen, maakt diagnoses en onderzoekt samen met het team waar het probleem zit én hoe het opgelost kan worden.
  • Jij zorgt ervoor dat alles blijft draaien zoals het hoort. Je plaatst, regelt af, onderhoudt en vernieuwt diverse meet- en regelinstrumentatie.
  • Bij revisies of nieuwe projecten sta jij paraat om de I&C-gerelateerde werken mee tot een goed einde te brengen.
  • Onderaannemers worden door jou begeleid bij de uitvoering van hun werkzaamheden. Je ziet toe op de kwaliteit en veiligheid van hun werk en staat in voor de administratieve opvolging van deze werken.
  • Je rapporteert vlot en nauwkeurig in SAP en maakt duidelijke verslagen van je werk.
  • Je bent bereid om deel te nemen aan de wachtrol zodat productieproblemen snel verholpen worden.

 

 

Dit breng je mee

 

  • Je hebt een bachelor- of graduaatdiploma in elektromechanica, elektronica, elektrotechnieken of automatisatie. Je hebt bij voorkeur al enkele jaren ervaring opgedaan.
  • Ervaring in de procesindustrie of elektriciteitsproductie is een waardevolle aanvulling.
  • Kennis van procesautomatisatie (regelaars, metingen, controlesystemen…) is een mooie plus.
  • Je bent goede kennis van MS Office en kennis van SAP is een extra troef.
  • Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands en hebt een basiskennis van Frans en Engels.
  • Je werkt vlot samen met anderen en deelt graag je technische expertise met hen.

As a GL Accountant, you step into a key role at the heart of our financial operations. You will take ownership of general ledger activities across one or more accounting scopes, managing your own planning and organization while ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial data.

 

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Taking the lead on daily accounting operations, you ensure accurate registrations and timely closings in both BEGAAP and IFRS.
  • Reconciling GL accounts, making corrections and ensuring everything balances out, you own the monthly closings within your scope.
  • You manage key accounting processes like IFRS 16 (RE-FX), asset management (AA), repair & maintenance tracking, and several closing tasks across entities.
  • Analysing trends and variances, you dig into the details to explain movements and propose improvements.
  • You review reconciliations, guide junior accountants, and ensure quality, completeness, and accuracy in all financial data.
  • Collaborating across teams, you contribute to projects and continuously improve tools, processes and internal controls.

 

 

What you bring

 

  • You bring at least 4–5 years of experience in General Ledger accounting, with a knowledge of BEGAAP and minimum IFRS 16.
  • You have hands-on SAP experience, especially with FI/CO and AA.
  • You’ve already worked with RE-FX or are eager to deepen your knowledge of it.
  • You’re an Excel pro, comfortable with advanced features to support your analyses and reports.

What you’ll do

 

  • Collaborating with the business, you create strategies that impact the company's finances, especially within the Support departments.

What you’ll do

 

  • You follow market design evolutions and regulatory frameworks, focusing on European market integration, ancillary services, balancing mechanisms, offshore integration, CRM and CCMD.
  • Evaluating their impact on Luminus, you analyse regulatory changes and contracts with the TSO/DSO.
  • You participate in TSO/DSO workshops, preparing proposals, responses and positions in collaboration with Corporate Affairs and other teams.

As a Scrum master, you’ll lead and coach a senior team of data analysts in the Data & Analytics (DNA) release train. Your focus is on delivery, managing inter-team dependencies and ensuring the smooth execution of IT initiatives and projects.

 

 

What You'll Do 

  • You help prepare the PI planning and breakouts in collaboration with the PO and the program team.
  • You protect and communicate – You help protect the team from uncontrolled expansion of work and communicate with management and outside stakeholders on this. In particular, for any additional or unexpected work not planned upfront, the Scrum Master requests the PO for feature/user story creation and re-prioritization.
  • You facilitate inter-team collaboration at the release train level and represent the team in the Scrum of Scrums (or similar cross-team forums).
  • You improve team dynamics – You focus on ever-improving team dynamics and performance. You help the team manage interpersonal challenges and opportunities for growth. You escalate to management where necessary and support team members in their professional development.

 

 

What You Bring  

  • You have a solid foundation in computer science or engineering.
  • You bring extensive experience with Agile methodologies, especially SAFe. Experience in Data Governance initiatives is a plus.
  • You have a strong understanding of IT solutions at all levels, with a solid grasp of business contexts and complex IT architectures, including various technologies and systems.
  • You bring hands-on experience in areas like testing, release management and more.
  • You master storytelling and impactful presentations and have a knack for driving process improvements and fostering creativity.
  • You are fluent in English (Dutch and/or French is a plus).

At Luminus, the ICT department focuses on optimizing energy consumption through cybersecurity, data intelligence, and network infrastructures. The objective is to develop smarter energy systems that assist customers and colleagues in reducing CO2 emissions and improving energy efficiency. For more information about the role of a Solution Architect in achieving this goal, please read on.

 

As a Solution Architect, you’ll analyze and optimize complex business processes using BPMN, ensuring alignment with business goals. You’ll drive process improvements, incident management, and quality strategies while enhancing IT architecture with cloud, API, and low-code solutions.

 

 

What you'll do 

  • You design and document architectural solutions that meet business needs and align with security policies.
  • You collaborate with teams to define epics, features and PI objectives in Agile environments.
  • You guide development teams to ensure best practices and technical governance are followed consistently.
  • You ensure smooth project delivery by supporting integration, testing and post-delivery processes.

 

 

What you bring 

  • You hold a master’s degree in exact sciences (preferably IT) or show us you have built up experience equal to this degree.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of the Belgian energy market. 
  • You have strong analytical, architectural and communication skills. 
  • You bring experience with .NET, AWS and UML for architecture design and prototyping. 
  • You are skilled in stakeholder management and interpreting legal requirements. 
  • You are fluent in English (Dutch and/or French is a plus).
