Luminus is one of the key players in the Belgian energy sector, recognized for its strong commitment to sustainability and excellence in ESG performance. With an impressive EcoVadis score of 79/100 (Platinum medal) and multiple awards and nominations for its CSR reports in 2019, 2021 and most recent, Luminus demonstrates a consistent dedication to responsible business practices.
However, the introduction of the CSRD directive requires Luminus to further formalize its CSR-related policies, with explicit targets, detailed action plans and auditable metrics. Additionally, the governance and organizational structure for sustainability must evolve to align with ESRS standards, particularly ESRS 2, enabling stronger collaboration across Strategy, Risks, HSE, HR and operational departments.
To meet these challenges, we are seeking a Sustainability Project Leader.You will take on the overall responsibility for the CSRD action plan, as well as oversee existing initiatives tied to key sustainability ratings (such as EcoVadis, Voka, and Unitar). You report directly to the Head of Sustainability and you will also collaborate closely with EDF Group experts on topics such as biodiversity, carbon footprint management, climate change adaptation, and circular economy practices.

You will operate within the Strategy, Innovation, Business Development and Sustainability, which is in charge of providing strategic directions, fostering innovation, developing businesses and steering transformation and sustainability performance.
Your Daily Job
- You contribute to the company’s sustainability strategy and policies, taking a proactive role in defining the vision for a more sustainable future.
- You lead the CSRD & CSR 2025-2030 action plans, consolidating insights from internal teams, external stakeholders, legal requirements and ratings.
- As the project leader, you work closely with operational and functional departments, ensuring progress is monitored and supported by a formal reporting procedure.
- You ensure the progress to act and report on transverse ESRS norms, including double materiality.
- You contribute to the publication of the yearly CSR report, bringing clarity and impact to our achievements.
- You develop expertise in emerging sustainability topics, guiding new business lines, solutions, and projects in measuring and mitigating their impact.
- You contributes to Sustainability pedagogy and communication with external and internal stakeholders.
Your profile
- You bring a Master’s degree in Management or Environmental Sciences.
- You have a proven interest, knowledge and motivation for sensitive Environmental or Social and Governance or Supply Chain Issues.
- You have at least three years of experience in a similar role or in a simalor project leadership, with a proven track record.
- You understand key CSR ratings like EcoVadis and Sustainalytics inside and out.
- Experience in the energy sector is a plus.
- You’re fluent in at least two languages, whether that’s French and English or Dutch and English. If you’re fluent in all three, even better!
- You excel at leading projects and ensuring seamless collaboration across multiple stakeholders.
- You are a fast learner, quickly adapting to evolving regulations and challenges while guiding others through change.
- Your organizational skills are unmatched and you keep track of every detail, ensuring data is well-governed.
